This revision refines several hardware setup notes, gain-calibration details, and software parameters to make the blueprint more reliable for Apple Silicon Mac operators.

Next on the bench: Linux

I am investigating, testing, and drafting a dedicated Linux setup guide for running FT8 with the FX-4CR.

Linux brings its own technical details: strict udev serial-port permissions, ALSA/PulseAudio/PipeWire audio routing, and Hamlib device mapping across distributions. Testing is taking a little longer because I want the published setup to be reproducible rather than merely plausible.
